Choir/Jazz Choir Telemiracle rehearsal/audition info

Senior/Jazz Choir is auditioning for Telemiracle this Sunday in Saskatoon. Our bus leaves the Bishop Pascal doors at 10:00am, so please be here by 9:45 so that we don't leave without you! Our audition is at 12:55pm, and we will be back on the bus for PA by 1:30pm.

YOUR WAIVER FORMS AND BUS MONEY ($10) ARE DUE TODAY!!! Please hand everything in to Mrs. Bonneau at the office.

Jazz Choir will rehearse today at 11:40 to make up for our lost rehearsal on Friday (due to our noon lunch "taco in a bag" fundraiser). We will also need to call at least one more rehearsal this week, possibly during a senior choir rehearsal time, which would require you to be pulled from class. Stay tuned (no pun intended)!

Senior Choir singing tests will start today in P.4, and they will be very brief so that we can get through as many as possible in one class. We will need to use the rest of our rehearsals for "When You Believe" so that we are feeling confident for our Telemiracle audition.

I am very close to choosing soloists for "Joyful, Joyful." I am still undecided on soloists for "When You Believe" so the solo may become a small group soli, or I may ask a select few of you to sing for me again.

Birthday beans!

Check it out - the ladies are ONE!!! So exciting! They had a wonderful birthday party last weekend with family from PA, St. Walburg, Cold Lake, and Edmonton. Everyone came out to celebrate their birthdays and Thanksgiving... and we have SO much to be thankful for!

So here, in no particular order, are some photos from the "beanday" party on Saturday. Love them! :o)

September practice charts due this week

Just a reminder for all band students that your practice charts are due this week. Some of you have already handed yours in - thank you. Please be sure that yours comes in before Friday - do not leave it until the end and then panic when you forget it on the last day. Save yourself some stress and hand it in early! :o)

In other news..... HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO AVERY AND EMILY!!!! So exciting! Most of you know that I call them the "beans" (my sister and her husband waited until their birth to find out the gender, so I called them 'beans' while she was pregnant and the name stuck). This morning I texted my sister to wish the ladies a "Happy Beanday!" They will be having their "beanday" party on Saturday and I will be sure to take lots of photos to share with you!

Happy Tuesday! :o)
