It's a BOY!!!! (TWO of them!!!)

Introducing my beautiful new twin nephews, who made their arrival into this world early on Sunday morning.  I am one proud auntie!

Baby A is Hudson Peter, born around 2:30am on Sunday morning.  He has dark hair like his big sister, the also-first-born Avery Anne (now 3 years old).  His facial features look to me like Grandpa Peter, whom he is named after.  He was 6 lbs 1 oz at birth and is a good eater so far - I think he'll be a tall guy when he's older!

Baby B is Logan Mark, born around 3:40am, weighing 6 lbs 3 oz.  He has lighter hair like his older sister Emily, and they share many similar facial features.  He's a real cutie and I can't wait for more cuddles!

Nuns cheering for the Riders

Check out this story about Ursuline nuns cheering for the Riders.  Love this!  I think some of our own Sisters of the Presentation will be cheering this weekend, maybe even louder than Sister Adelaide and Sister Rosetta! :)

Rivier will be showing some major Rider pride in Regina this weekend as well.  10 students and myself (along with a friend from City Band) will be traveling to the Queen City tomorrow morning to march in the Riders Grey Cup Marching Band for the Grey Cup parade.  What a blast!  Thank you to the 2 parents who volunteered to drive as well.  It is going to be an excellent and very unique experience!

Health 8 Lesson 2 questions assignment

The Health 8 assignment today is to complete questions #1-12 on pg. 48-49 of the Teen Health 3 (green) textbook.  All questions must be answered in FULL SENTENCES.  Some of the questions are more basic than others and can be answered quickly.  Questions #10-12 are critical thinking questions and need to be answered in depth.

Computers 7 Keyboard Shortcuts list as of Nov. 21st

Hi Comp 7T (and any other readers who may be interested in Keyboard Shortcuts!).  Today your list should look something like this (we got it to this point last class, November 18th).  You should have all of these 27 keyboard shortcuts on your list, but the colouring will look slightly different according to your own personal preferences and how you "decorated" your list.

You can choose your colours for each line, but they should all be coloured differently by using the Font menu (the shortcut for the Font menu is Apple +D).  Remember that to colour lines the text has to first be highlighted.

You have also been given the "justification" assignment today, which is an assignment that gives you practice using your left (Apple + L), center (Apple + E), and right (Apple + R) justification keyboard shortcuts.  When you are finished, save your document as "Last name, Justification" and hand it in to the IP 10T hand-in folder.
