Musical Theatre fix for your Friday!

I just ordered the Hal Leonard "Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology" for Mezzo Soprano/Belter Vol. 1, 3, and 5 (now I have all 5 volumes!), and I have discovered that Volume 3 is AMAZING. There are so many great little-known solos from far underrated shows... my new favourite is "Stars and the Moon" from Songs for a New World. I think I will probably sing this as my ballad solo for next year's Music Festival.

SO GOOD!

Beaner update

Aww, so cute! Check out the newest update from my sister and her husband. Avery has a new funny face that she likes to entertain her people with, and the girls got their first pigtails over the weekend so Emily modelled them for us here on the blog. Enjoy!

Birthday beans!

Check it out - the ladies are ONE!!! So exciting! They had a wonderful birthday party last weekend with family from PA, St. Walburg, Cold Lake, and Edmonton. Everyone came out to celebrate their birthdays and Thanksgiving... and we have SO much to be thankful for!
