When You Believe
Check it out - our Rivier girls are on the big stage! This photo was taken during our performance at 6:30am, after our very late night of camping out at the Science Centre. While at the Science Centre we watched an IMAX 3D movie, dissected pig hearts, tackled the rock climbing wall, explored the exhibits, and took part in a static electricity stage show. So neat! We got to bed around midnight and then woke up at 4:30.... It was a very early morning, but so worth it in the end. Thank you to everyone who made it possible! (Click the photo below to enlarge it)
In our hearts, a hopeful song we barely understood.
Now we are not afraid, although we know there's much to fear.
We were moving mountains long before we knew we could.
There can be miracles when you believe.
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill.
Who knows what miracles you can achieve?
When you believe, somehow you will.
You will when you believe.
In this time of fear, when prayer so often proved in vain,
Hope seemed like the summer birds, too swiftly flown away.
Yet, now I'm standing here with heart so full I can't explain,
Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say.
There can be miracles when you believe.
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill.
Who knows what miracles you can achieve?
When you believe, somehow you will.
You will when you believe.
Ashira l'Adonai, ki ga oh ga ah.
Ashira l'Adonai, ki ga oh ga ah.
Micha mocha baelim Adonai.
Micha mocha ne dar bakodesh.
Na chi ta v'chas d'cha. Am zu ga alta.
Na chi ta v'chas d'cha. Am zu ga alta.
Ashira, ashira, ashira.
There can be miracles when you believe.
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill.
Who knows what miracles you can achieve?
When you believe, somehow you will.
Now you will.... You will when you believe."

8M photo editing highlights - Public Market/Flower
Music latte!
Well folks, now that the musical production is over, band rehearsals are moved back to the auditorium (yay!). We have our beautiful rehearsal space back and I can't wait to hear how we sound back on stage!
In other news, I'm not much of a coffee fan, but I stumbled across this picture and I figure if I had coffee this cute, I might convert. :o)
Happy Friday! Enjoy your well-deserved and hard-earned break!

Alphabet photography
Check it out! Here's a super cool project for computer classes (we're going to start with IP 20/30 and go from there). It's "alphabet photography" - the name speaks for itself. It's amazing how you will see things differently when you start looking for letters in all of your surroundings! Once we have collected as many letters of the alphabet as possible, I will show you how to edit and compile them into collages like this.
