Online safety

To go along with the online safety presentation by Rob Nickel that we were fortunate enough to attend on Wednesday, here's the address to use to check in on your Windows Live profile (if you have a hotmail e-mail account, etc.):

http://members.msn.com/youraddress123@hotmail.com

Just use your own e-mail address after the last slash in the address and it should pull up your profile if you have one. In addition to upping our security settings on facebook, this is a good place to check if you're concerned with how much of your personal information is out there on the net.

Bieber fever, or Osmond-itis?!

Just a thought for all of you girls out there who are crazy about Justin Bieber... (in case you are wondering, this post was inspired by all of the Gr. 7 iMovie topics on the aforementioned teen heart throb).... Here is my question to you: Are you in love with Justin Bieber, or secretly enthralled with his 1960s doppelganger, Donny Osmond?

Just sayin'.

Comp 7 iMovie intro, IP 20/30 commercials, 7C assembly duties

Hi girls! Just a quick update on a few items:

Computers 7 - iMovie intro - Please start thinking of a topic that you would like to base your iMovie on. If you are collecting photos from Google image searches, please ensure that they are full-sized, high quality images. If you wish to do your iMovie on a topic for which you have your own photos (from your camera or computer at home), please bring your photos on a USB for next class so we can get started.

IP 20/30 commercials - Due Monday, November 22nd (Period 1). If you haven't finished filming yet, you should be working outside of class time to get your footage collected. You will need all the time you can get in class to actually put the project together, edit it for length, clarity, impact, etc. and add music and/or sound effects where appropriate.

7C assembly duties - We are responsible for Monday's assembly (November 15th). We will be singing "Reach Out" and 3 people will be in charge of singing "O Canada," leading the Lord's Prayer, and reading the daily announcements. If you wish to be a part of the extra duties, please let me know and we will draw names from a hat.
