"Do not ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman
Also, check out his little sister pretending to play along with him in the background. So cute!
Also, on a school project-related note, here's what will be happening with IP10 and 20/30 classes starting tomorrow:
IP 10 - portfolio introduction/beginning creating resumes
IP 20/30 - brainstorming and starting the planning stages of the commercial/advertisement video assignment (we will record a list of group members tomorrow)
Also, on the IP 20/30 note, I was thinking that we should save iDVD until we have a large number of video projects completed. That way we can take that opportunity to make a giant compilation project that we can then burn to DVD at a later point in the year. Fun!
.... my beautiful little fraternal twin nieces, Avery and Emily!!!! I love them so much and love to share they joy (aka show them off) whenever I can! I am a giant puddle of mush when I think about them, and I can hardly wait for the long weekend so I can go visit and hold them again!
PS - Just a reminder that your band practice charts are due by tomorrow - don't be late!
Just kidding. Check out that beast in the middle (and no, I'm not talking about the guy playing it)! That thing makes the alto look strangely like the plastic bath toy saxophone I had when I was a toddler (it blew bubbles!).
Don't ask me why these guys are in wetsuits on the ocean shore - I guess the nearby surfers needed some saxophone choir entertainment or something. I can't imagine playing this thing - the reeds would be like 2x4s and your entire body would vibrate with every note! Not to mention you'd need lungs the size of grain silos.
