Inspiration Series #1 - Determination

Hi Comp 8! We are turning our attention now to editing photos that will serve us well as portfolio additions. Introducing, the "Motivational/Inspirational" series!

Assignment #1: "Determination"

Choose one of the following quotes and find a picture that compliments the text (either from your own collection or a high resolution photo from Google Image search). Save it as "Last name, first initial, determination."

Silent Monks "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah

As promised to the jazz choir girls, here they are! The silent monks "singing" Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. Hilarious!

IP 20/30 movie trailer due date

Hi girls! Just a reminder that your movie trailers will be due after the Gr. 11s return from Europe. If the rest of you finish your trailers before that, then you will be able to work on yearbook pages, proof reading, editing, etc.

The due date for movie trailers is MAY 12TH.

So far things have been very entertaining around here - I can't wait to see what you come up with! The filming is underway for most groups already, and once we get your footage imported to iMovie you will really start to see the product come together. Remember that your clips should contain fairly fast and/or noticeable action, as many of the spaces in the template only allow clips of 0.5-2 seconds, which can pass by quicker than you may anticipate (and if the clip is too static, it may end up looking like a still photo). There will always be room to re-shoot certain clips if necessary once you start working with the iMovie templates.
