Comp 8 cover letter assignment

Using Pages, write a letter to somebody who has the power to hire you for your dream job (a casting agent, an accounting manager, an educational director, etc.). Choose the letter template that you feel will best suit the company for which you are applying. In the body of your letter, explain the following to your prospective employer:

- What job you are applying for
- Why you want to work for them or for their company
- What type of experience you have in the field
- Why you would be the best for the job (what personality characteristics do you have that make you the most suitable candidate for this job?)

Feel free to be serious, funny, dramatic, thought-provoking, etc. You can write this letter in any tone you choose, as long as you remain consistent throughout. You may also change font sizes, colours, etc. as you see fit. If your template includes a placeholder for a photo, be sure to choose one that fits the job you are applying for (for example, a very theatrical posed picture of yourself or a professional-looking head shot for an acting job, an artistic photograph of a sunset or an old building or something artistically interesting for a job as a photographer, etc.).

When you are finished, save it with your last name and "dreamjobltr" and submit it to my drop box.
