Thanx Miss Campbell that helps ALOT!
this helped a lot thanks!♥ amy
Ms. Campbell, I have a question: on question 2, you asked how the adaptions of their mouthparts allow them to obtain food. I don't remember doing this question...
Lauren
Lauren:
This question was taken from pg. 28 of the text. There are diagrams of the mouthparts of each insect in question. I hope that helps.
miss campbell, what are spiracles? i don't remember! -amy
Amy:
Check page 32 in the text. Hint: it has to do with respiration.
i asked nicole and she said it like let's gases pass through... is that right?? -amy
Thanks Miss Campbell!
Lauren
Thanx Miss.C I hope it will help metomorrow.
Kianne ♥
Amy - yes. Spiracles are small openings in the side of a grasshopper's body that allow the gases to pass in and out (because they don't have lungs).
oh ya I totally forgot that grasshoppers have lungs thnx this realy helps= I will do way better than i would without useing this blog

Sarah, I can assure you that the exam does not consist solely of labeling a diagram of a fly. Please study the review questions I gave you as well as your notes and the textbook.
