Hi gr. 7! Here are some review questions for you to complete as you study for the quiz. Just a reminder: 7C will write the quiz on Wednesday (19th) and 7P will write the quiz on Thursday (20th).

Ms. Campbell, I have a question: on question 2, you asked how the adaptions of their mouthparts allow them to obtain food. I don't remember doing this question...

This question was taken from pg. 28 of the text. There are diagrams of the mouthparts of each insect in question. I hope that helps.

Amy - yes. Spiracles are small openings in the side of a grasshopper's body that allow the gases to pass in and out (because they don't have lungs).

Hey is the test on monday now because there is mass and mass practice? I hope i am ready! I also herd that the test is just a flys diagram!?!? is that true?
