Run or Dye 2014

This morning in Saskatoon I had a very colourful 5k run with Mrs. Ikert, Drew, Davin, and my university Music Department friend Claire.  It was fun, but nothing compared to COLOUR ME RAD… which you should all register for!  "Rad in Plaid - Team Rivier" - happening September 6th in Saskatoon.  Anyway, this was definitely a more fun way to run 5k than my regular routine, so it was worth it.  Here are a couple pictures of our adventures.  I hope you're all enjoying your summer!

Percussion mallets/sticks/bags for sale

Two former Rivier students have percussion accessories that they would like to sell.  If you are interested in purchasing used snare sticks, timpani mallets, practice pads, and mallet/stick bags, please see me for more information.

20th Century Fail

I have laughed at this video more times than I can count.  Jeff (Mr. Lohneis) laughs at this EVERY time and asks me to replay it multiple times in a row.  It's just really, really horrible.  Enjoy!

Computers 8 new editing assignments

The next 6 editing assignments are to be completed with the following themes:

1. Nature
2. Friendship
3. Art
4. Determination
5. Reflection
6. Faith

They do not need to include any text.  Edit them in any way you choose and hand them in to the Computers 8C or Computers 8M hand-in folder with your last name and the name of the edit (as above).  This will take us between 3-6 classes to complete.

Jolly (and sleepy!) jumper!

My sister sent this gem to me yesterday.  I guess Hudson was so sleepy that he went from giggling and cooing to completely zonked out in the middle of his jolly jumper session.  If only bedtime was always this easy for my sister and her husband (and their 2 sets of twins)!

One Act Play ideas

Hi Drama 20 students!  Today we are in the Computer Lab looking up possible One Act Plays to perform for our final performance project (May/June).

If and when you find one that you would like considered (for yourself or another group), please comment below with the name of the play, the playwright, a brief synopsis, and the number of cast members required (and gender, if applicable).

We will be working on these plays during class time and performing them for the class audience in June before exams.
