Attack of the Wanted Posters!

Hi IP 10! Here is your Comic Life assignment. You have 2 choices:

Option #1:

Create a 1-page "WANTED" poster. Use a photo of yourself or, with permission, a photo of a friend. As long as the content is school-appropriate, you can be as creative as you wish with the reasons as to why this person is wanted. Suggested information to include: Physical description of criminal, suspected whereabouts, "rap sheet" (list of offenses), reward offered, etc.

Here is an example of a "WANTED" poster. Keep in mind that the template should be very simple, picture-wise. Note the font sizes on this poster, and which words stand out.

Option #2:

Create a 1-page comic book cover page entitled "ATTACK OF THE ________" (fill-in-the-blank). Choose a household or other inanimate object such as a vaccuum cleaner or trombone or bath towel as the subject of your comic book (be creative - you are very imaginative people!). Use pictures where appropriate, preferably one main picture that takes up the entire background of the cover.

Here's an example of a comic book cover to guide your creative thought process:

Notice the details of the cover, such as the month and issue number, price, comic book logo (in the corner), etc. Try to make your cover look as authentic as possible!

Save your projects with your last name and first initial, and either the name "wanted poster" or "attack cover" and submit to the IP 10 drop box. You will have a few classes to work on this project.
