Congratulations to everyone for a fantastic run of "Where the Lilies Bloom" - what a great experience! You did an amazing job, and the responsive audiences that we had all weekend echoed my sentiments. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and excellent attitude throughout the entire process. Another great show for the record books!
Now, enjoy those free weekday evenings! :o)

Photo edits whilst home sick with bronchitis!
Computers 8 students - You can have fun with selective colouring edits on your own photos if you find a picture where your eyes are clearly visible. Turn your photo to black and white, apply it, then choose the "Tint" feature. Click the "Reverse Effect" tab, paint your eyes back on, and then slide the colour selector all over the colour palette to find some neat effects! (The one on the left reminds me of Kacie's crazy red contacts!) Have fun!
(PS - This isn't a required assignment; I just thought it might be fun if you are finished your assigned edits today or in future classes.)

Selective Colouring Assignments
Hi ladies! Here are your next two assignments for your Computers 8 photo editing portfolio. They are using the "selective colouring" technique that I taught you in the last couple classes. If you have forgotten how to do it, please talk to the friends around you (remember the fish edit?). :o)
The assignments for today (and maybe one more period if needed) are to do the following:
#1) Sunglasses or another bold fashion accessory:

| What a cool lady! |
#2) Lips - bold and coloured
![]() |
| I used the Cinema Scope feature after painting the lips on from black and white |
#3) Eyes only
![]() |
| Selective colouring + Boost feature |
![]() |
| No really.... I swear they're natural.... haha. Try the tint feature and reverse effect painting! |
Happy editing! Save your projects, as always, with your last name first, and the file names "accessory colouring", "lip colouring," and "eye colouring". Please hand them in to the drop box - I can't wait to see what your creative minds come up with! Remember that interesting photography always makes for more interesting edits. Be sure to choose images with high resolution from Google or your own collection (around 900 pixels or higher if possible).

Where the Lilies Bloom pictures
We had an excellent dress rehearsal today, and the cast did a great job of ignoring me as I shamelessly climbed on stage, stood up in the audience, laid on the stairs, etc. and snapped 1,194 photos of the rehearsal (eek!). I spent a couple hours tonight going through them all, and I was able to get the bunch down to 378 photos total. Here are a few from today's rehearsal. Let's have a great opening show tomorrow everyone! AND DON'T SAY AIN'T.... SAY ISN'T!!!! :o)
